Mohegan Sun is set to launch its summer poker calendar with the return of the Summer Kickoff Poker Tournament, a three‑day No Limit Hold’em event beginning Friday, June 12 at 11:10 a.m. and concluding Sunday, June 14 with a champion crowned. The $400 buy‑in tournament features a guaranteed $75,000 prize pool, marking one of the property’s signature early‑summer offerings. Later in the month, Mohegan Sun Poker will commemorate Juneteenth with a special High Hand promotion running throughout the holiday.
Players may register on‑site in the Mohegan Sun Poker Room starting at 9:15 a.m. before each tournament flight. Registration remains open until the start of Level 7. Each entrant begins with a 25,000‑chip starting stack, with an optional 5,000‑chip add‑on available for $10.

The Juneteenth High Hand Special is scheduled for Friday, June 19 from noon to midnight. The qualifying high hand every 20 minutes between noon and 2 p.m., and again from 10 p.m. to midnight, will earn $1,000. From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., qualifying high hands will receive $600. Eligible hands include Aces full or better.
