Hollywood, FL — The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) closed out its tenth straight year with a dramatic finale at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, once again showcasing its signature Big 4 championship events.
A staple unique to South Florida, the Big 4 features four major tournaments with staggered structures designed to conclude simultaneously, creating one of the most exciting finishes in live poker. This year’s edition guaranteed $4.75 million across the four headline events and ultimately drew 1,513 total entries, generating more than $6.3 million in prize money.
SHRPO Championship: Jake Cody Claims the Crown
British pro Jake Cody captured the SHRPO Championship title, outlasting a field of 889 entries to earn the trophy and $510,850. The event produced a prize pool of over $4.3 million, reaffirming SHRPO’s status as one of the premier tournament stops in the United States.
